Distant cry
Thoughts like a grim expanse
With weariness arise.
Viewed from a dreary distance
Where the emptiness lies.
Where the ribbons of regret
Have reaped a ruined route.
To leave utopia upset
And Valhalla destitute.
Where we signify the variance
Between each other's eyes,
As clever indifference-
Concealing cryptic cries.
